As a Commercial and Industrial Leasing Executive for E Property Consultants, I am passionate about finding property solutions for the North Queensland business community. I’ve always had a strong interest in real estate, which drove me to undertake my REIQ License before joining the Colliers Townville team in early 2017. I’m a North Queensland local, born in the Burdekin before moving to Townsville in 2004. Having grown up in a family who have always owned and operated small businesses, it has helped develop my understanding of the needs and challenges for business operators in the region. Prior to real estate, I was a professional Rugby League player initially attending Kirwan State High School’s Rugby League Excellence Program, during which time I was proud to have represented both Queensland and Australia. I went on to secure playing contracts with both the Newcastle Knights and the North Queensland Cowboys. After many years having worked in my family’s businesses and my time as a professional rugby league player, I have developed a strong work ethic and a range of transferable skills that will ensure that the needs of our clients are met in a timely and proficient manner. Steve was born, raised and completed highest levels of schooling in South Africa. Craving an adventure, he spent years travelling the globe and eventually settled in Australia with his wife and sons.
